The National Cinema Museum is hosted in the symbolic monument of the city, the Mole Antonelliana. The Museum develops in a spiral upwards, on multiple exhibition levels, giving life to a presentation full of collections that traces the history of cinema from its origins to the present day. The Museum contains and illustrates the entire history of cinema in an interactive itinerary: from shadow theater and the first fascinating magic lanterns that constituted the prehistory of the “seventh art”, to the most spectacular special effects of today.
